Even if you are NOT an avid reader...or a news watcher.....still you must have been listening to the pundits on various mediums...you would realize that we are suffering from "Inflation-o-Mania". Everybody seems to be bitten by this new bug, everybody seem to have different opinion on it, and each one has a strategy to fight it !
But is this problem really serious enough ? Look at Janpath, and you would wonder if you are in the same world. There is absolutely no problem there....except when there is a camera and a microphone visible. The world is calm....fuel is abundant...and inflation...? what ? whats' that ? Probably there isnt food shortage there..grains still cost "nothing" and "salaries" are super high still! I dont know if they worry about the big-bull...after all....they know how to tame it !
Now....lets look at some place else...and we'll still wonder if the problem is serious enough? The problem is enormous...but we arent serious enough to acknowledge it...! We still think that the world is calm....fuel is abundant..but yes ...its becoming costlier. But thats ok....considering that its after all "subsidized"..lets have some morality for heaven's sake. Can't except the fuel to be sold at peanut prices right ?
Ok...so where is the roblem really ? The problem is where this blog wont ever reach...the problem is where we've never been..where we would never be...and where we never wish to be. Thats a different world..where inflation loses its lusture...its high-society tantrum...its magnum scientific possibilities...its super-intelligent controls....and its ever-increasing size. It simply resides there in the form of high-priced grain....in un-affordably-priced-fuel....in un-realistically medicines and in the form of FEAR.
I sometimes wish we knew that world way before...atleast we could have THOUGHT / TRIED to stop the dreaded bug spreading there.

The Neverending RACE to NOWHERE ! The UPGRADE race !
Whenever I find time..I pull out my notebook and start to prepare a "Wish-List" of things that I wanna possess.....the list is neverending it seems...and my guess is..most of us do the same and realize the same....the race is neverending !
Everything thats available is automatically on the wish list...and everything that is already possessed, is already useless. With new-learnt geeky terms...our lives are on "upgrade" mode all the time...where everything HAS to be upgraded to better version ! Unless we do that...there is aconstant fear of "crashing" and "losing support". Crashes - lack of mental peace...and less self-satisfaction. Support - society visions, supoprt and respect.
I wonder sometimes...if our previous generation was made to run tha rat race...would they win ??? I think....they would...always.....surely.....! The difference is not in the race....but in the art of running ! They were not exposed to this huge "information base"....and they could not "connect" to each other so much...and niether did they have so many "financial resources" available. But still, they participated in the race, and they did win ! The tools were simple....the style was orthodox..and the results were guaranteed. They were happy to finish the race....they were competing with themselves.
Today, we are battling a war...not just within ourselves, but with the extreme entries of the table as well..! We wanna win...not within..but win against the most desired..prized possession. We want to be up-to-date with the latest versions...of life.
Wonder when there arent further "releases" available....and product "end-of life" is near...would we be able to say that we WON the race ???
